TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • From Monday 06 August 2018, the prices have been increased and daily capacity has been increased to 8 to 10 doggy guests per day – due to high demand. Additional staff have been employed at peak times to manage the needs of more complex cases requiring a higher level of dedicated care & nursing commitment.
  • A 50% deposit is required to be placed 14 days before commencement of your “special dogs” holiday with the balance to be paid before or on the day of arrival via Direct Debit. Otherwise the total amount is required to be paid in full with short notice booking. This information is also written in Registration Document to be signed and returned.
  • A cancellation fee of 50% is applicable when less than 7 days’ notice given
  • Clients with multiple dogs in their household, please inquire in good time to ensure all dogs can be accommodated. Priority will be given to “special needs” dog. A 10% discount applies on total accommodation account for multiple household dogs.
  • Please enquire about concessions for long term / regular stays – this is based on the level of care your dog requires.
  • Gold Card rate also applicable for senior citizens with “special needs” dogs. However, this is subject to your dog’s medical requirements.
  • Long-term rates apply after 21+ night’s accommodation and subject to availability during peak periods
  • From Monday 06 August 2018, there will be Public Holiday Surcharge applicable to each resident guest of $25.00 per public holiday – Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, Queen’s Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Day After New Year’s, Auckland Anniversary Day & Waitangi Day
  • PEAK PERIOD ADDITIONAL CHARGE -School Holidays – April; July & Sept/October; Christmas Eve /New Year to 31 January; Winter Season – June, July & August – $15.00 per day

Owner Declaration regarding your pet/s behaviour regarding livestock and other dogs:

Due to “The Doggery” being located in a rural area and we have livestock as do our neighbours. It is necessary for owners to declare how their pet/s behaviours are around livestock and with other canines in social situations.

Our policy is to off-leash walk and we need to know if there are issues with your dog/s actions and behaviours in regards to livestock and other guest dogs. We DO NOT tolerate aggressive behaviours.

In the event your dog shows aggression or interest towards livestock and /or aggression to other dog guests and people causing injury “The Doggery” has the right to find alternative boarding accommodation for your dog .This will be at your expense.

The Doggery has the right to manage your dog in appropriate manner to reduce the risk of such incidents.  In addition given your dog harms any livestock or another guest dog – you the owner will be responsible for the veterinary fees incurred.

The health, safety & welfare of our staff, dog guests and neighbours and public are a priority at all times.

Access to The Doggery – drop off & collection

DROP OFF/COLLECTION TIMES
Between 8 a.m. –  4.00 p.m. by prior arrangement

PLEASE call 0274-311-877 when at the Entrance to shared driveway for ACCESS to The Doggery.

The driveway also incorporate our neighbours and therefore entering onto PRIVATE PROPERTY
There are often big trucks and livestock being manoeuvred by our neighbours and ourselves – so care needs to be taken regarding this as well.

At THE DOGGERY we need to acknowledge incoming and departing vehicles for the safety and security of our doggy guests, visitors, staff and my family.

The Doggery has access to the farm area for walking activities for guests and return via parking zone – we need to ensure this area is secure and safe for all concerned.

The Doggery is located on the LEFT branch of entrance – at 55B HUNTER ROAD, TAUPAKI, AUCKLAND.  Please take the first turning on the left – follow the signs.

At the parking area please WAIT IN YOUR CAR  and a member of staff will come out to meet & greet at earliest convenience. We may be attending to guests or ensuring dog guests are secure and settled before arriving to assist you.
